About us

Unmeasured is a space to validate and empower those affected by heightism. We are not victims—but we are often undervalued and unfairly challenged by a social dynamic that few openly acknowledge.

You have the capability, potential, and responsibility to rise above it. Many men have done so before, and their stories matter.

This space exists to share those stories, provide resources, and foster a supportive community to help you navigate heightism with clarity, confidence, and resilience—so you can unlock your true measure.

What is Heightism?

Heightism is simply any prejudice or discrimination against someone on the basis of their height. It is a form of body shaming that can result in the unfair treatment of shorter individuals. Heightism has been severely underdiscussed but it is a pervasive issue in employment, business, politics, dating, media, and the mental health of many men.

What can we hope to accomplish?

Let’s talk. That’s the only major goal of this concept. Heightism is vastly underdiscussed. We want to share the struggles, successes, and knowledge that exists within this community. From discussion and understanding, we will circulate the common tools, tips, and, guidance that can elevate our entire community. In time, we will be able to provide resources, discussion threads, information, and guides to anyone interested.

Let’s be blunt. Heightism is unfair. There are serious, systemic, sociological, and biological drivers behind it. In our lifetime, we have seen incredible success in the organization and advocacy of different repressed groups based on the same fundamental concept that you were born this way. However, that is not the mission of Unmeasured. We want to help you now, today. Take the anger, frustration, pain that you feel at the unfairness and use it as fuel to make a change from within. As cliche as it sounds, we want you to become the best possible version of yourself. We want you to measure your worth not in inches, but in the core values that you hold in your heart. If enough of us embrace this change and fortify our minds against the social messaging that has repressed us for so long, who knows that the future could hold for the larger issues. For now, it starts with you.
